GFIM Eye Clinic

Mediccom and The Global Foundation for Integrative Medicines (GFIM) under their Global Integrative Venture Efforts (G.I.V.E) initiative setup a free Eye Clinic in Sri Sambodhi Viharaya, Sri Lanka. At the request of the Chief Incumbent Ven Kusaladamma, Hon. Chief Justice of Sri Lanka and Hon. Sarath N. Silva the clinic was setup and the logistics and the distribution was setup and provided by Dr. Lohitha Samarawickrema, CEO of Mediccom and Prof. Dr. Sir Ravi Ponniah, President of the GFIM and the G.I.V.E team members. Over 2000 pairs of brand new reading spectacles were given out by trained optical staff. Refreshments were organised by Senior DIG Mr. Jayantha Wickramarathna, DIG Colombo Mr. Nimal Mediwaka, SSP Karunarathna and Mr. Sagara and his team from the OIC Cinnamon Gardens.
